Mr. Lindsey’s practice focuses on patent, trademark, trade secret and copyright matters, concentrating on patent and trademark prosecution. Mr. Lindsey has over ten years experience preparing and prosecuting patents in a variety of technical areas. He has prepared and prosecuted U.S. and foreign patents in many technical areas, including computer software and security, medical devices, telecommunications, wireless computer networks, RF modulation schemes, cellular systems, digital signal processing, Internet applications, HDTV, LCD and plasma display technologies, semi-conductor devices, speech and handwriting recognition, digital coding and compression, satellite communications, numerical processing, optical systems and switching, fiber optics and optical connectors, control systems, electrical motors and equipment, business methods, food products and packaging. He has also prepared and negotiated significant patent and technology transfer licenses, and has written numerous legal opinions for clients on product clearance, patent infringement, invalidity and enforceability, as well as right-to-use trademark opinions.

Until recently, Mr. Lindsey was an associate at Howrey, Simon, Arnold & White, LLP, working on intellectual property, anti-trust and commercial litigations and transactional matters. During law school, Mr. Lindsey was an extern to the Honorable Judge Blanche Manning of the Northern District of Illinois. From 1994-1997, Mr. Lindsey worked as an Intellecual Property Manager and Patent Agent for Motorola’s venture capital and technology investment group. From 1990-1993, he was an R&D engineer for Motorola’s Government Systems Group in Scottsdale, AZ. Mr. Lindsey authored three research articles for IEEE publications, and he is an inventor on two issued patents involving speech recognition and enhanced television imaging.
